A closer perspective of Kanarra Falls showing the powerful beauty of the waterfall flowing beside the metal staircase inside the narrow walls of Spring Creek Canyon in Kanarraville, Utah. The warm afternoon sunlight illuminates the sandstone walls with rich orange and golden tones, while the shaded canyon and icy spring water create a dramatic contrast. Using a long exposure, I captured the silky movement of Kanarra Creek as it rushes beneath the staircase and through the canyon. Standing this close to the waterfall at the base of the stairs, offers a wonderful sense of scale, showing just how narrow and rugged this section of the hike can be.
