Piece description from the artist
The natural clear cold water spring runs through a slot canyon section of Spring Creek Canyon on the hiking trail to Kanarra Falls in Kanarraville, Utah, United States. I captured this photograph as we were hiking through the chilly 36 degree water. The afternoon sunlight was giving the canyon walls a golden glow. Just a little ways into this slow canyon and you'll come across the beautiful Kanarra Falls waterfall which I also have photos of. It is a 4 mile roundtrip hike and the majority of it is through the spring fed water. Even in the summer the water is cold. The hike can be rough in some areas requiring a little bit of climbing over large boulders, especially after the main waterfall.
