Built in 1848, this remarkable mill stands as a testament to its craftsmanship and resilience, having survived the Civil War even after the nearby town was burned down. Behind the mill flows Capps Creek, adding to the peaceful charm of the scene. Today, the Jolly Mill and surrounding park have been restored to preserve their rich history, featuring period buildings relocated from other sites to recreate the original town of Jollification, Missouri. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this destination is a beloved Missouri landmark for photographers, historians, and travelers exploring Ozark heritage and fall beauty.
