I've always been fascinated by the way an iris seems to dance. The petals don't simply open, they twist, fold, curl, and catch the light in unexpected ways. I wanted to exaggerate that movement. My hope is that you don't just see an iris, but experience the energy and grace that's often overlooked in something so familiar.
