This piece reminds me of the entrance to a luxuriously decked out cave dwelling, complete with magenta shag carpeting, yellow table and a large green plant, as well as flowing white curtains
I've read fiction books that had specific scenes in caves, though they were certainly not decked out with any kind of creature comforts
The piece has color combinations I like, such as magenta and dark blue
Mike Lenkowski is a visual artist living and working in Chicago. He has worked in various media such as reverse acrylic on plexiglass, acrylic on canvas, Plastic Prismatic Boxes, and 3D Assemblages. Mike graduated in 2007 from Avondale College with a Degree in Fine Art. His work can be found in private collections in the US and abroad, as well as in Art*o*mat machines nationwide.
