Il Treno Per Roma

Piece description from the artist

"The train to Rome" was inspired by a trip years ago that was documented by a series of drawings that covered the daily activities. This one in particular was drawn during the train ride from Milan to Rome. Though the piece is abstract there are clues within that place the viewer in front of the cabin window as the lush countryside goes by, The depiction of the emergency exit sticker at the bottom along with the rounded corner of the window are clear indicators of the artist's intention in this piece.
