One of the most beautiful and most difficult birds to photograph. They are rarely still and move quickly but their colors are vibrant.
Alicia experiments by photographing scenes that depict forceful movement and gentle change, and her goal is to find a balance between the two, conveying a sense of energy through the stillness of photography. For this reason, sunrise and sunset are her favorite times to shoot as she is able to use varying levels of light to great effect.
