Piece description from the artist
House in the Alaskan Wild
Aaron Gustwiller was raised in southeastern Michigan, but it wasn't until he took a trip out west with a full manual camera at age twenty that he knew photography was for him. Aaron knew he had a creative eye, but he still needed to learn the technical aspects of photography. At this point, he purchased his first digital camera knowing that was the new direction of photography, and began to explore and learn on his own.
From 2003 to 2005, Aaron took classes at Washtenaw Community College in Ann Arbor, Michigan to further his knowledge of photography. After graduation, he spent some time in New York City to see if the fashion world was to his liking. In doing so, Aaron discovered that the city was a nice place to visit, but living there was not for him.
In 2006, Aaron made a move to North Carolina to pursue new opportunities. Aaron is currently building his own niche in the wedding photography industry. He spends his free time still photographing the world around him, capturing all its beauty and sharing his vision with others.
