Hot Lights in Singapore - Red 1

Piece description from the artist

Red #1 in the series, Hot Lights in Singapore.
Pairs well with Purple #1-4 in the same series.

Long exposure photograph taken of the Clarke Quay plaza in Singapore result in an abstract light painting. The center of the plaza featured color-changing glowing orbs. The lighting elements were shot using hand-held camera movement and zooming, creating streaky lines that are electrifying and bold.

Original photograph available printed and signed by the artist. Metal prints have the dyes infused directly into specially coated aluminum sheets. The material is lightweight, easy to clean and water proof. The original piece features a glossy finish, 1/8" rounded corners, and float mount hangers (prints float 1/2" off wall).

About Mary Wang

Portland, OR

Mary has an engineering and real estate background but photography has always been her creative outlet ever since she received her first camera as a child. She loves capturing beauty in all its forms whether it's in nature or abstract subjects. Just recently has she started to print and show her photos to the public. Mary's work has been displayed in cafes and art shows around the San Francisco Bay Area. Her most well received work are flowers illuminated at night and abstract light "paintings". The light "paintings" are photographs taken with a long exposure with no "Photoshop-ing" done.
