Piece description from the artist
A beautiful early morning view at Horseshoe Bend in Glen Canyon National Recreation Area in Page, Arizona as blue hour begins to transition into golden hour. The rising sun behind me casts warm light across the desert landscape, filling the sky with soft golden tones and illuminating the rugged sandstone cliffs.
Far below, the Colorado River curves dramatically around the massive sandstone escarpment, forming the iconic horseshoe-shaped bend. The towering cliffs, rising nearly 1,000 feet above the river, are part of the expansive Colorado Plateau. Located within lands of the Navajo Nation, this breathtaking viewpoint is one of the most photographed natural landmarks in the American Southwest, especially during the warm glow of sunrise.
