Piece description from the artist
Born from a package store called The Flying Crow, which began selling sandwiches to survive Prohibition, Herby-K’s has served Shreveport since 1936. Its neon glow, brick walls, and famous Shrimp Buster sandwich capture the spirit of America’s highway age, offering a nostalgic glimpse into the history that shaped both Shreveport and the travelers of U.S. Highway 80.

As a visual journalist who believes that opinions are shaped by life experiences, he strives to give his audience a front-row seat to his adventures from around the world and around the block.
