A stunning and expansive mountain landscape stretches out near Hogan Pass Overlook along Utah State Route 72 near Loa. In the foreground, a rustic wooden and wire fence frames the sweeping view of rolling hills, open valleys, and snow-capped mountain peaks in the distance.
Visible across the landscape are Geyser Peak and Hens Hole Peak, while far off to the left, part of Capitol Reef National Park can also be seen. The surrounding scenery within the Fishlake National Forest region blends forest, desert, mountains, and valley terrain into one breathtaking scene.
Standing at an elevation of 8,975 feet, the overlook provides incredible views of mountains rising to around 10,868 feet in elevation. Puffy clouds drift across the sky above, adding even more depth and beauty to this majestic Utah landscape.
