Located in Harlem, the High Bridge, or Harlem Bridge, is the oldest bridge in New York City. It sits over the Harlem River and connects the city boroughs the Bronx and Manhattan. When first built in 1848, the bridge operated as an aqueduct. In 2015, over one hundred years later and having been closed for over forty years, the bridged opened in 2015 as a pedestrian walkway for New Yorkers to use and enjoy.

Born and raised in San Francisco, CA, Julian grew up exploring the coastlines and mountains of Northern California. After practicing music from a young age, he went on to attend Berklee College of Music. His years of studying the balance between structure and improvisation in performance inform his approach to design today. Currently living in Boston, Julian works as a Graphic Designer in corporate and freelance settings. Drawing inspiration from a variety of corners, it is the pursuit of simplicity that keeps his exploration of design in motion.
