Guardian of the Plains

Piece description from the artist

During a photography trip in rural Montana, I came across this white fiberglass mustang, guarding the plains of Eastern Montana, framed by a bright blue sky. These life-scale horses were often used by Motels and Hotels in small towns to catch the eye of tourists passing through, hoping to entice them to stay a night or two during their travels. They are becoming more and more rare, as many of them have aged and have been removed, so I love to document the remaining ones I find.
