Greenway chinatown path boston

Greenway Chinatown Path, Boston

Piece description from the artist

A pen and ink drawing of the Chinatown portion of Boston's Greenway Path. The scallop stoned pathway cuts right through the heart of the city where the elevated Central Artery used to reside. What is particularly impressive about this part southern section of the Greenway is the juxtaposition between the lush bushes, green trees next to the glass, steel and concrete buildings. The structures shown on the left and right are Asian-inspired sculptures, which remind me of the game of "Jenga" with its stacked wood blocks. This drawing is likely the first in a series of various parts of Boston's Greenway.
