Piece description from the artist
Growing up in southeastern Wisconsin in the 1980s was a magical time & place. I spent hours unsupervised and free to roam our little lakefront town. Many afternoons were spent reading books in trees or collecting flowers by the riverside. The wind blowing through a treetop full of leaves is still one of my favorite sounds. I wanted this piece to convey the calming energy the breeze can bring from upon the branches of an apple tree.
