Piece description from the artist
I captured this scenic view along a gravel hiking trail at Ruth and Paul Henning Conservation Area in Branson, Missouri, surrounded by tall grasses, wild weeds, and scattered trees dressed in autumn colors. Early morning brought a light haze across the rolling hills of the White River Hills in western Taney County, adding a soft atmosphere to the Ozarks landscape. Recent rainfall left puddles along the path.
I love how the golden yellow and orange grasses catch the morning sunlight as the clouds begin clearing behind me. Ahead, the trail follows the slope of a hill toward another rolling ridge, while the soft blue gray sky provides a beautiful contrast to the warm fall colors. The winding hills and rustic scenery are a wonderful reminder of what makes the Missouri Ozarks such a special place to explore and photograph.
