Piece description from the artist
In the San Francisco area, we have named the fog that rolls in almost daily. It's name is Karl! This is shot from the Marin County side of the bridge looking back towards the city. Always love seeing Karl weave into the world's most famous bridge.
Danny Anderson has no formal training in photography, but he makes up for what he lacks in training with a unique perception of the world around him.
From the beginning, Danny's approach was simple; when he photographs a location, Danny attempts to capture not just what it looks like, but what it feels like to be there. In doing so, contrasts, composition, dynamics and drama have become an integral part of his process and consideration while making artwork. Danny is always searching for everyday beauty so he can allow the day-to-day imagery to distract and inspire him. Danny refers to this process as "natural distraction."
Danny currently lives and works in Brentwood, California.
