I love to see the weather crossing over land. With the use of long and narrow shape I am able to draw the eye to the horizon to bring attention to this relationship between the earth and sky.
Victoria Jackson is an Atlanta-based artist who is best known for landscapes, horizons and abstract pieces. She primarily works with acrylic and oil on canvas. Her parents opened the Ann Jackson Gallery in North Atlanta in 1971, where she was exposed to artwork and the painting process at a young age.
Victoria expresses her belief that through adversity comes tranquility in her paintings. A turbulent sky crossing over a vast landscape always has a glimpse of a brighter day coming.
