A wide horizontal monochrome landscape photograph capturing the dramatic, folded rock strata and snow-covered ridges of an alpine mountain range beneath a heavy, brooding storm sky. High-contrast processing unifies the rugged geological formations with deep, atmospheric clouds.
From the smallest details of macro to the vast panorama of a landscape, with a quick stop off at many subjects in between, Rick's passion for detail and capturing the moment has inspired him to shoot many different genres. He enjoys traveling to different parts of the world and will take his camera, even on work trips. More recently, he has been practicing creating artistic renditions of his photograph.
