Ghostly Forest

Piece description from the artist

Pine trees in a forest in England with a pathway leading to the center of the woods with intentional camera movement vertically to smooth out the details to give a ghostly forest impression. The original scene was just too literal, and I wanted to give this impression that everything was somewhat fluid and uneasy – hence the movement of the camera through the exposure to provide this dreamy look

About Steven Heap

Georgetown, TX

Steve Heap has been a photographer for over 50 years now (which is frightening to think about!) but in that time he has developed an eye for what would make a striking piece of wall art. Photography is all about the light and his finest attribute is patience! Waiting for the conditions to be just right is the key to making a piece of art that you can be proud of. Of course, luck plays a part, but without that patience of being in the right place at the right time, it just becomes a snapshot. He focuses on capturing images from around the world – timeless shots that reward the viewer with insights as they spend more time with them!
