Piece description from the artist
This photograph captures a quiet and beautiful evening at the concrete arch statue at the Gene Leahy Mall area at the Riverfront. The arch wall is a pair of historic arches from an old bank building, that was were dismantled and reconstructed back-to-back to form a single, two-sided arch. Originally built in 1974, the arches were moved to the mall in 1979. It's a popular landmark connecting the Old Market and the park area. The golden sunlight is highlighting some of the buildings in the distance as it drops below the buildings behind me. This is located in Omaha, Nebraska, United States. This area is also called Central Park. It offers beautiful views of the city skyline. The modern architecture arch you see can see a peek of through the opening of the art columns is part of their outdoor amphitheater. Captured during the fall season.
