Frozen Water Under Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge

Piece description from the artist

This vertical photograph, taken from the Ronald Kirk Pedestrian Bridge, captures a striking winter view of the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge in Dallas, Texas. The tall, sweeping white cables rise through the frame, emphasizing the bridge’s dramatic height and modern design. Below, a portion of the Trinity River appears frozen, adding a rare and unexpected seasonal element to the scene. Opened in March 2012 as part of the Trinity River Project, the bridge connects Highway 366 in downtown Dallas to West Dallas, while the icy river below highlights a quiet winter moment in one of Texas’s fastest-growing cities.
