This dreamy, fun painting calls the feeling of looking into an aquatic world. It is inspired by many "invisible" life forms living in water.
This work uses extensive layering to achieve the visual harmony. The flowing lines and biomorphic forms compose a space of fantastical, mystical images with a sense of wonder.
Shinoid creates biomorphic abstract paintings that are inspired by nature, calligraphy, music, and inquiries on human consciousness. The works are intricately layered, emotional, whimsical and meant to take the viewers to step out of the everyday world, connect with the magical or the mystical, and tap into the memories of unknown sources. Trained in biological science and through the abstraction of beautiful but almost invisible, strange things – from the small plankton floating in the water to the filaments of mushrooms extending miles underground – the artist presents a drifting human mind with hidden dreams and symbols. Shinoid’s art creates a sense of wonder, invites the viewers to be curious and encourages them to daydream.
