Forms no 9

Forms no. 9

Piece description from the artist

Each print is a unique one-of-a-kind monoprint using an alternative process that I devised in relief using pink builders form as a matrix. After I "etch" the design through an alternative process, I print the relief surface by rolling them up with ink using a brayer and print them with a press. These prints examine binary contrasts in form, structure, color, and texture. I am interested in the random juxtapositions by taking two different print pieces and contrasting their color and texture.
