The concept for "Forest Deer" and the "From the Woods" series was developed through experimenting with stencils and printmaking inks on paper. The final piece is printed on cradled maple-wood panel using modern printmaking techniques that allow for high clarity, sharpness, and vibrancy of color.
Andy Kerr is a designer and artist who is glad to call the Pacific Northwest home. He spends much of his time parading around the coast or in the mountains as he gets inspiration from the beautiful and diverse landscapes that he explores.
