Piece description from the artist
This piece was part of a six panel series I did for a band called Illinoise. The content was based on the lyrical narrative, meant to compliment the music and give visual feeling to their content. Each piece stands alone and is attached to a song on their album, yet they also work together and connect in key places to give a flow and cohesive nature to the series.
Born and raised in New York, I am a Pratt Institute graduate with a degree in Communications Design, with a focus on Illustration.
Much of my personal work is often inspired by and reflective of the society we live in today, with relevance to the modern culture that I've personally experienced. For me, this subject is often symbolized through the vast roads of America.
Recently, I've been selected to participate in the 2011 Pratt Show Exhibition as well as the Society of Illustrators Student Annual Competition.
