Foamy Waves Alabama Coastline

Piece description from the artist

Foamy waves gently roll onto the shoreline along the coast of Orange Beach, Alabama, USA, where this vertical photograph looks down the sandy stretch toward the fishing pier. The surf forms soft white foam as it crashes into the beach, and the wet sand creates a reflective sheen, mirroring a glowing column of light that leads the eye toward the structure in the distance. The private pier, part of the nearby Four Seasons Resort, stands as a focal point along the horizon.

Beneath a clear blue sky, the emerald-colored waters shimmer as they meet the shore, a signature look of the northern Gulf Coast. Though the sand is naturally bright white, it takes on a more tan appearance when wet from the tide, enhancing the warm tones of this tranquil seaside scene along the Gulf of Mexico, also referred to by some as the Gulf of America.
