Piece description from the artist
The phenomenon of ultraviolet (UV) light causing certain minerals in rock crevices to glow, creating fascinating abstract pictures, is known as fluorescence. When UV light shines on specific minerals, they absorb the light and then emit it at a different wavelength, which often appears as a bright and colorful glow. This process can result in stunning visual effects, particularly in dark or low-light environments.
