A closer selective color view of the full beautiful Spearfish Falls showing the rushing water as it cascades down the rocky landscape of Spearfish Canyon in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Morning sunlight illuminates the 50-foot waterfall, while a faint rainbow appears in the mist near the base, adding a beautiful touch of color to the scene. I used a long exposure to create a silky, smooth appearance in the flowing water while capturing the rugged rocks and natural beauty surrounding the falls. Located near Lead and Savoy, South Dakota, Spearfish Falls is one of the scenic highlights of Spearfish Canyon and a hidden gem worth exploring. The short hike makes this picturesque Black Hills waterfall an especially rewarding destination for photographers, nature lovers, and anyone exploring the area.
