On a cool fall day in Colorado, I came across this watery scene that instantly caught my attention. Reminiscent of the Impressionists, I wanted to capture the colorful and dreamlike quality that painters of this art movement were able to capture in their paintings. The lighting and color were perfect!
Barbara has been exposed to art and creativity, her entire life! Her mother was an oil painter and her grandfather, not only an MD, but a talented artist as well. At the age of 16, Barbara found her creative passion looking through the lens of a Canon camera. She has be a photographer from that point on, finding subject matter from the gritty streets of Manhattan, to the alpine environment of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. She feels most at home now, among big horned sheep, moose and mountains of Colorado!
