I captured this unique angle of Mount Rushmore National Memorial in Keystone, South Dakota with a row of flags from one side of the Avenue of Flags framed to the right side. In the near distance, the carved faces of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln shine in the morning sunlight. We went early in the morning before the crowd started in order to get this capture with only one person which helps give you a perspective on the size of the monument. This is the most recognized landmarks in the Black Hills. We went in 2026 during the country's 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.
