First Cut

Piece description from the artist

Big puffy clouds hover above a colorful field full of summer Alfalfa and wildflowers that grow along the edge of the crops. A storm begins to form, creating lovely deep tones of gray in the clouds and a soft blue sky above. I very much love the energy of summer storms in these big wide open spaces, where I can watch the clouds grow and change as the storm becomes stronger. Summer rain smells amazing in the countryside, and the slight breezes after a storm are always nice and cool on a hot day. The sounds of nature come alive after a rainstorm, and it's so calming to listen to the symphony of bugs, animals, and grass in harmony in the breeze.
