Some golden yellow sunflowers stand high in a field in Willard Missouri, United States during sunset. I love the golden flare from the sun in the background. Their genus is Helianthus and they are in the Asteraceae family. People describe them as looking like the sun and can grow higher than 10 feet tall. Sunflower seeds that are part of their large center is a popular snack.
