Piece description from the artist
Nestled back against a bluff and wooded area, the historic Falling Spring Mill's aged brown wood stands out amongst the bright tree tress and brush. A little wood bridge crosses over the creek to the old building. Located in Winona Missouri, United States. and part of the Ozarks, this mill was built between 1927 and 1929. It was to grind corn for feel, saw out shingles and firewood, and generate electricity. This is the 2nd of two mills. The first one had a wooden wheel while this one has a metal one. Behind the mill is a natural spring waterfall that fills the natural spring pond. This is a painting I took and turned into a watercolor painting with texture look.
