There is nothing more beautiful than the enduring majesty of the Beartooth Mountains, bathed in the soft, warm glow of low-slung alpine sunlight. Rendered in a gentle, pale palette of washed blues and muted earth tones, the composition highlights the rugged contrast between evergreen-dusted slopes, snow-dappled ridges, and the vast expanse of the open sky. The luminous light washing across the mountain face creates a sense of quiet reverence and warmth, standing as a visual meditation on constancy, resilience, and turning toward the light in high-country solitude.
Annie was born and raised in Montana, growing up on her family's ranch in the beautiful Smith River Valley. Growing up in Montana's wild and beautiful Landscape led to her deep love of nature and all things rural. Annie attended the Art Institute of Colorado and lived in Denver Colorado until the completion of her Interior Design degree in 2002. After working in that field for several years, Annie moved back to Montana and began her own business, focusing on her ever-growing love of photography. She began traveling the backroads and wilderness of Montana and the Rocky Mountain region and selling her photos professionally in galleries, shops, and online. She primarily searches for rural Landscapes, old barns, abandoned farmhouses, and occasionally wildlife she encounters. Her work as been featured in HGTV, Better Homes and Gardens, and featured in three books on emerging artists of the United States. She currently lives in Billings, Montana, and takes several trips during the year to gather new images.
