Piece description from the artist
This was taken on a trip to the Salton Sea on a recent visit to California. This is a favorite shot of mine if for no other reason than the awareness I have of my own addiction to technology and sense of wonder about whether our use of technology is inherently good or evil, whether it will eventually spell the end of humanity, or if it might be what saves us from our own self-destruction. This shot, of course, seems to suggest the former, and I keep a print over my computer as an ominous reminder to myself.
