Ever So Gently

Piece description from the artist

I love to watch the Fall leaves resting on the water of the rivers each year. This photograph explores the dance between gravity and fluid motion, isolating a single golden, heart-shaped leaf as it rests delicate atop the surface tension of dark, rippling water. Emerging brightly against a deep, dramatic backdrop, the leaf causes subtle concentric rings to swell around its edges, bending the surrounding light into a quiet visual pulse. The composition serves as a minimalist meditation on grace, impermanence, and stillness—capturing a fleeting autumn moment suspended in gentle balance before the current carries it away.
