Evening Waves Beneath Gulf Shores Pier Grayscale

In this black and white photograph, I captured a coastal moment near standing beside and under the Gulf State Park Pier in Gulf Shores, Alabama, United States. The warm light casts a soft glow across the shoreline and the sturdy pier as waves roll in from the Gulf of Mexico, also called the Gulf of America. As the water moves beneath the pier, waves splash against the concrete pillars, sending small bursts of foam outward.

The fading sunlight, adding shimmering highlights that stretch along the beach. The combination of small surf, warm coastal light, and the repeating lines of the pier creates a peaceful yet dynamic scene, beautifully capturing the natural charm of Alabama’s Gulf Coast as the day slowly winds down.
