Watching the sunset from the iconic Canyon Overlook Trail in Zion National Park was an unforgettable moment. Captured just before the sun dipped below the mountains, this landscape photograph showcases a dramatic sunburst of light piercing the sky and illuminating the towering red rock cliffs that define Zion’s striking scenery. Below, the winding switchbacks of Highway 9, also known as the Zion-Mount Carmel Highway or Zion Scenic Byway, cut gracefully through the canyon, adding depth and scale to the view. A few scattered clouds catch the warm glow of the sunset, enhancing the drama and serenity of this classic Southwestern overlook in Springdale, Utah, USA.
