As evening settles over East Pass in Destin, Florida, USA, the Destin Bridge and William T. Marler Bridges rise in soft silhouette against the fading light in this black and white photograph. A boat with an American Flag theme floats by. This peaceful stretch, known locally as Snorkel Beach, offers a stunning view framed by swaying sea oats and a white sand walkway that leads toward a rock jetty where gentle waves lap at the shoreline. I captured this tranquil moment while standing partly behind the dune grass, with the calm waters ahead contrasting the lively Destin Harbor just behind me. Beyond the bridges lies Crab Island, a popular sandbar that buzzes with boaters, floating restaurants, and sunseekers by day. As dusk descends, the scene transforms into a serene reflection of Destin’s coastal beauty and vibrant spirit.
