Eternal Dusk was created with alcohol inks on yupo paper. The vivid colors and layers of visual detail create an otherworldly landscape that is always that perfect time of day, when the stars and fireflies peek out against a periwinkle and pink sky. The flowers fading with the last hazy dim of diffused, darkening sunlight. It’s a magical time, a peek into heaven, right here on earth.
I've always been an artist and painting is how I express my joy for life. Nature is my inspiration. I'm a prolific creator, with a wide range of mediums and surfaces including: encaustic wax, oil paints, alcohol inks, watercolors, acrylics, textiles, pottery, ceramic decals and glass. I live with my family in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina. We have a dog, who makes us a family of 5.
