The Empire State Building stands against a bright, colourful sunset, surrounded by the lights of New York. The brushstrokes give the city a lively, shifting atmosphere, as if the skyline is glowing in motion. Oil on canvas. Signed and varnished.
Painting has been my passion since childhood. Among many different techniques oil painting is my favorite.
Themes of my paintings are as variegated as our world: cities, people, life, animals, dramatic art, nature. I am greatly influenced by such famous artists like Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Isaac Levitan, Auguste Renoir. My work was strongly influenced by Picasso. The painting Girl on the Ball made a big impression on me in my childhood.
