Piece description from the artist
I captured this peaceful spring afternoon along Roaring River in Roaring River State Park near Cassville, Missouri, where a series of small waterfalls gently cascade over limestone rocks into the crystal-clear emerald waters below. Surrounded by the lush greenery of the Ozarks, the fresh spring foliage brought vibrant color to the riverbanks, creating a scene that felt both refreshing and relaxing.
Roaring River is fed by one of Missouri's largest natural springs, which produces more than 20 million gallons of clear, cool water each day. The river's steady 57-degree water makes it an ideal habitat for rainbow trout, making this one of the state's most popular destinations for trout fishing. I always enjoy slowing down here, listening to the soothing sound of the flowing water, and taking in the peaceful beauty that makes Roaring River State Park one of my favorite places in the Ozarks.
