I use large gestural strokes in my floral pieces. To me, it gives a sense of movement and imagination to the scene. In this series, I also get to play around with fun and feminine colors which will hopefully bring a sense of warmth and joy to viewers!
Hannah Brown graduated from Colorado State University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a concentration in metalsmithing and jewelry. Following her education, she promptly moved back to Dallas to start her career as a custom fine jeweler for a local elite designer. After eleven years of honing her craft, Hannah felt the need to switch her focus and go after a life long dream of becoming a studio artist.
By blending her jewelry career with early childhood experiences of being raised by parents that embraced nature and creativity, she has created a distinct style all my own.
Hannah primarily paints with oil on canvas to create bold and eye catching gem encrusted paintings.
