The Edinburgh Castle in city of Edinburgh in Scotland, UK. Medieval fortress and royal residence dating back to the 11th century. It stands upon the plug of an extinct volcano called Castle Rock, which has been occupied by humans since at least the Iron Age. I took photo of this iconic castle from the Grassmarket Square.
