"Edge of the World" evokes a sense of raw geological power and natural beauty. Flowing bands of rich crimson, earthy ochre, deep black, and creamy white mimic the intricate striations found in ancient rock formations or satellite imagery of desert landscapes. The composition feels simultaneously grounded and otherworldly, suggesting the moment where the known world slips into the unknown. Denise is an artist from Arvada, Colorado. She draws her inspiration for painting from nature and likes to paint landscapes. Since she is surrounded by the beauty of the mountains of Colorado, there is a lot of inspiration to draw upon. She also recently has begun branching out to abstract painting with acrylic paints and experimenting with various filters in digital graphics applications.
