Mixed media painting in my "Dream Forest" series. The original was created with mixed media using acrylic paints and alcohol inks. There is a lot of vivid detail and motion in this colorful glowing forest.
I've always been an artist and painting is how I express my joy for life. Nature is my inspiration. I'm a prolific creator, with a wide range of mediums and surfaces including: encaustic wax, oil paints, alcohol inks, watercolors, acrylics, textiles, pottery, ceramic decals and glass. I live with my family in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina. We have a dog, who makes us a family of 5.
