A dreamy forest with colorful lighting. It has an incredible amount of intricate details layered in vivid, yet soothing colors. To me, it feels like a very happy dream, with a touch of magic. Originally created with mixed media using acrylic paints and alcohol inks.
Mary Elizabeth has always been a painter. Painting is how she expresses her joy for life. She is a prolific artist with a wide range of mediums and surfaces, including: encaustic wax, oil paints, alcohol inks, watercolors, acrylics, porcelain, clay, ceramic and glass. She lives with her family in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina.
