A scenic black and white landscape stretches across Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA, with fluffy cumulus clouds drifting above the towering Pikes Peak and the rugged Rocky Mountains. I photographed this breathtaking spring view from Palmer Park, one of the most beautiful urban overlooks in the city. The rocky bluffs and rolling hills create a dramatic foreground that leads the eye toward the snow-covered summit of Pikes Peak in the distance. Even on a warm spring afternoon, this quiet natural escape offers peaceful hiking trails, panoramic views, and a sense of solitude. With 730 acres of scenic terrain and more than 25 miles of trails, Palmer Park remains one of the best spots to take in the majesty of the southern Front Range and Colorado’s wilderness beauty.
